Mettle Foundation is a Christian Principled Charity. Our core principle is set out in Galatians 5:14 — “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
Our mission is to grow God’s family. We believe that happens as described in Matthew 13:3–9 — by sowing in fertile fields, where real growth for God’s will can be achieved. We try to place what we have as close as we can to true fertile ground.
Through the library, we see ourselves as part of God’s great commission here on earth: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” — Matthew 28:19. That is why the library exists, and why everything in it is free.

What we teach
The Word of God is our authority. This good news “has nothing to do with religion or church doctrines. It does not ask for the approval of any tradition or creed or theology.”
Sin is a life, not a list of deeds. What every person inherits from Adam is “not the sins the person does, nor the works he does, but the life which he IS.”
Jesus Christ was made that sin on our behalf, and carried its full penalty — not physical death only, but the second death. We hold that He bore it in hell itself: if He did not, the penalty is not yet paid. In His death we died, and in His resurrection we rose with Him.
A person enters the kingdom of God only by being born again. It does not depend on what church you belong to, on your standing, or on being “good enough”. “Only a new creation — a new LIFE, a new SOUL — can ever enter the kingdom of God.”
Eternal life begins the moment a person is born again. It is not a hope for later; it is the kind of life Jesus Christ is, and it is for now.
Baptism into the name of Jesus Christ is part of that rebirth, as Peter said at Pentecost: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptised into the Name of Jesus Christ unto forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38)
The Holy Spirit lives in the believer now — teaching from the Word, convincing, and giving power to be a witness.
God’s Word in our mouths is not empty. Speaking it releases His power for safety, for healing and for provision, because we are made in the image of the God who created by speaking.
Sowing and reaping is the law by which the Kingdom operates. Not words only, but thoughts, attitudes, judgements and deeds — whatever a person sows, that they will reap.
We are sent to make disciples, not to keep services. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” That commission, and not the meeting, is the work.
